The reason is quite clear from yesterday’s rain on 30th August with just few minutes rain that shockingly after an hour filled roads in residential areas as the drain water cannot make outlet had spread inside the houses and compounds of infrastructure due to the swelling river Bharalumukh.

Fast developing Guwahati is too slow in recovering from waterlog issues that is giving an ugly image of the metro city that any outsider visiting it will lament on its monsoon woes. If proper planning of infrastructure is not met out properly in the future then in this way no one would like to invest in Guwahati for further progress.
