Interestingly this time heroin of 660 grams seized from nowhere rather than from the truck’s nose that is about 60 packets from the engine cover at 4:30 am peak morning by the Jorbat Outpost police, Assam.
The truck loaded with heroin in 60 soap cases at its
nose was passing from Manipur where forces from Basistha Police Station on a
tip-off unsurfaced the narcotics along with Rs. 45000 and two mobile phones.
The two drivers who were arrested under the Case
(No.1533/21) were from the Thoubal district. Further investigation will be on the
process to track drug networks as Assam is on high alert on drugs dealing to
stop making the state as the gateway for Northeast drugs supplement.
