Manipur To Globalize Traditional Food Business

In the attempt to leverage food business the Manipur government has taken a new challenge to emphasize its seven indigenous food items of the state that are not only delicious but few also hold key ingredients for preparing various interesting recipes.  

 Understanding the demands of the seven indigenous Manipuri food items like the bamboo shoot murabba, black rice fruit, black rice laddoo, hot and spicy bhujia, nuts cookies, fig ladoo and kabok mixture the Union MoS for food processing industries and Jal, Shakti Prahlad Singh Patel introduced in Imphal’s secretariat conference hall in the attempt to globalize it in international market.
