Meghalaya’s first mass tracking attempt was made at Mendipathar Railway station as the state Chief minister Conard K Sangma launched the facilitation centre.
Mendipathar is the only such train station of Garo Hills to keep vigil on visitors and foreign travelers’ inflow and the local public as well. This measure of installing felicitation centre is to help tap COVID spread and numerous factors to tap on illegal activities as well as tourist tracking.
