Assam River Dolphin’s Existence Receives Threat

Rare population of this peaceful water animal the Assam river dolphin is now under threat as poacher ventures to sell its meat in Dibrugarh at Kolakhuwa fish market that is in approximation Dihing river on 17th August.

 

The population of river Dolphin is already in scarcity and selling of meat would make this animal near to extinction. Apprehending the fact the Assam top cop, GP Singh stressed Dibrugarh, SP to take action against the Dolphin meat sellers.
