Lower Assam Second Wave Flood Condition Is Critical

Dhubri including Bongaigaon rivers are flowing above danger mark causing second wave flash flood to numerous villages

District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) asses total 31 villages are being affected by the second wave of flood where four relief camps are being installed in both the revenue circles of Bongaigaon district.

Dhubri district even more worse flood situation with Brahmaputra, Gadadhar, Gangadhar and Tipkai running above danger mark as the district recorded 16.8 mm downpour within 24 hours. Moreover erosion is creating more panic than flood.
