Shillong To Revive Back Its Economic Bustle

Curb in COVID figure is showing greater economic improvement in Shillong capital city as Meghalaya government decides to keep shops dealing in essential commodities to remain open from 9 am to 6 pm on every six days whereas non-essential shops to stay limited to five days a week with strict adhere to SOP.

Restaurants with 50% capacity can enjoy six days a week service from 1st September and must display vaccination status on front of their infrastructure as this rule of employing vaccinated employees will be implemented for the shops and bars.

On this liberty by the Meghalaya government under the stress of COVID pandemic the market committee, headman of the area and CCMT will be responsible for successful six days operation without lapsing on the COVID protocols
