2021 ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is marked on the eve of full moon
day on 22nd August with colorful and decorated threads, sindoor and
sweets as an offering to brother after prayer by every sister.
Especially in the morning hours this auspicious moment
is cherished where a sister seeks her blessing from her brother. This special moment
is to mark the sacrifices and nourish that through this bond received and the
pure love relationship between brother and sister.
On this moment a brother always promises to be at her
sister’s place wherever he may be if situation permits and bestow her with
blessing.
