Observation of campaign ad ban of the ruling government has two different objectives from two groups as newspapers earlier had called for government ad ban due to dissatisfaction in payments whereas Election Commission‘s issue of ban during poll schedules is to ensure fair voting.
Counting from the date of voting, the newspaper agents have to observe cease order as directed by the Election Commission on any kind of political ad coverage till the poll period is over.
