Kamrup metro’s every ward locality positioned as election booth for the citizens now to avail vaccine as decided by the government.
Already verification drive by the Block Level Officers
who are trained at Kamrup Deputy Commissioner’s office have started conducting
house to house inspection of the listed authorized citizens if in case deprived
of vaccine.
There about 1204 polling stations configured to be used
as vaccination centers according to polling configuration data base. This BLOs
initiative vaccine drive first in Assam was made at Kamrup base as its graph of
fresh case escalation is more in comparison to rest parts of the states
moreover being a gateway to Northeast has made it prone to high rate infection
district.
The BLOs in this vaccine drive will be supported by an
ASHA worker and location based gaonburah or Nagarik Committee member. During
their three days investigation on the numbers of authorized citizens to be
vaccinated will prepare detail report under the guidance of DC, Kamrup (M) and
health department officials.
To boost up vaccination process the government has initiated to end the month high rate vaccination of its large population in comparison to rest of the region every ward wise polling booth to conduct as COVID Vaccine Center from 25th to 31st August.
