The Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya assured to boost financially to avail required vaccine aid and other necessary support if Northeast control COVID pandemic which is on to a better situation in comparison to rest states of India.
Package of Rs. 13, 52,92 crore was earlier declared to
entire Northeast infrastructure development to curb pandemic impact whereas per
to requirement further financial processing will be done in a day or two. But
stressed that the NE states do not try to manipulate COVID statistics as
according to the Centre assessment figures do not matter.
