Recent border chaos in Assam’s Hailankandi area was sorted out in a most effective manner by stopping all kind of construction work in the zone and by returning the construction materials to Mizoram who wanted to build a small bridge.
The two state governments are taking full care that no construction are made in the border area and directed Ramanathpur Police Station to return the construction materials seized from Kachurthal area of Hailakandi district to the Mizoram government. The Chief Secretaries of Mizoram and Assam virtually sorted out the matter along with the security in charge.
