Dimapur the economic backbone of Nagaland
is setting for a new record in Northeast with garner 60 corer plus revenue
collection from daily ticket sales of local train transaction.
In account to five years back revenue
collection, today Dimapur Railway Station is garnering profit to two fold above than previous earning to position it next to top competitor of Northeast, the Guwahati Railway
Station. Just that Dimapur has not advanced in
arrangement of necessary amenities including proper installation of sanitation, else
it would have stood unbeatable with its increasing growth.
The 2015 to 2016 revenue report showcased
drastic financial bounce rate in sales of passenger tickets of Dimapur Railway
Station. There was incredible bounce rate from Rs. 31.6 corer in 2012-13 to Rs.60
corer rate in 2015-16 in perception to RN Ranmung the current Divisional
