Arunachal Pradesh Authority Feels People Should Be Empowered To Boost Its Tourism Industry



Arunachal Pradesh is an ideal tourism destination of India but falls short of manpower to drive its tourism industry dynamically and for which the APTOA (The Arunachal Pradesh Tour Operator Association) has initiated programs to empower people in its drive at its annual general body meet. 


For effective operation of state’s tourism industry the APTOA’s President John Panye has initiated brilliant ideas of PAP issuance empowerment to local tour operators by initiating matter to the government, felicitation of 7th Mile, Pasighat, Government Primary School’s toppers at  Arunachal Travel Congress in October, encourage people participation in boosting tourism by observing ‘World Tourism Day’ in September at Namsai under the theme of “Sustainable tourism-a tool for development.”


APTOA President further emphasized on mass participation in beautification and preservation of state’s flora and fauna to help promote tourism in better highlight.
