The Assam Government has initiated to flex out tedious lockdown in major parts of the state with lift in inter district ban that will help in economic boost of the state.
The total curfew from all districts will be observed after the Independence Day that is on 16th August where inter district travel to resume. Lockdown according to new SOP will be from 2 pm to 5 am in Lakhimpur and Golaghat districts as the cases of corona upsurge is more whereas for the rest of the districts will observe curfew from 5 PM till 5 AM. If infection rate of corona virus calms then there is possibility of reopening schools from 2nd September according to Himanta Biswa Sarma's new SOP.
