Virtual Classes For Tea Gardeners' Children In Assam

This attempt of virtual teaching through 'AIR' educational programme 'Radio Parhasali at the radio channel 'Brahmaputra 90.4 FM' was launched by the Inspector of Schools Dipika Chowdhury and Sarba Shiksha Mission DPO Manima Bhattacharya.

Through this broad cast programme classes education will be catered to the students of the tea workers. 'Radio Brahmaputra 90.4 FM' is the first radio station of the Northeast to install educational programme on English, Mathematics, General Science  and others for the students of Class III to VII students per week from 10 am on Monday to Friday.

This 'AIR' borne interactive educational program mission is to spread education in the unreached Char and rural zones of Upper Assam. In this interactive mode of teaching through’ Radio Parhasali’ programmes the students will have the privilege to interact with the teachers as they listen.
