Meghalaya And Assam Merge To Develop Relationship To Seek Growth


On a previous record Meghalaya and Assam holds 12 areas difference which two states Chief Ministers Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal and Meghalaya, Mukul Sangma planned to leverage the relationship by melting inter-state boundary conflict to seek growth as united force.


Meghalaya’s CM Mukul Sangma who had visited Assam to exchange dialogue with Sarbananda Sonowal appeared quite convincing in gaining fruitful result from the initiative to dissolve 2,765.14 square km of 12 areas difference that maps Gizang reserve forest, Langpih, Hahim, Tarabari, Nongwah-Matamur, Boklapara, Borduar, Deshdemoreah, Pilangkata, Ratacherra, Khanduli-Psiar and Blocks I and II.
