Illiteracy Overpowers Digital Combat To Secure Tea Estate Workers Financially In Assam

Tea workers are laborer class who do not prioritize education over money as they live in streamline condition that becomes difficult to manage their family where Assam Tea planters feel it is a hurricane task to combat through digital process to pay them.

Now these 7.5 lakh tea workers from 800 tea estates of Assam are on the verge of war against their owners and the system of demonetization. As without money they cannot understand the virtue of surgical strike against black money trough demonetization by the government.

Tea laborers are normal wage workers who as per daily or weekly contract cannot imagine of operating an electronic device to access their money. If India would have been more than half percent literate then it could have expected fast recovery from the implementation of this new rule. If you keep banana inside an ATM a monkey sensing food can vandalize it only to get their necessity. So what could be expected from a crowd of unruly tea wage workers without proper written communication in a digital world?
