Massive measure of 2.5 lakh people will be implemented by the State Assembly Elections for direct processing in the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) with various party candidates.
State Assembly Elections will conduct massive MCC exercise where
on spot and party people will be directly contacted to ensure no misuse of
power. Currently Rs 64 crore above illegal worth have been seized and strict
follow of MCC had been observed at different level.
MCC observance is not a compliance one agent but multiple exercise
of departments to systematically observe that no illegal poll activities are
carried and maintain fair polling by the Income Tax Department, Directorate of
Revenue Intelligence, Directorate of
Revenue Department, State Excise Department, Narcotics Control Bureau, Flying Squads,
Static Surveillance teams and other regulatory agencies.
If any suspicious movement of cash, narcotics, valuables and
liquor across the poll bound state are detected then it will be filed against
the party. Round the clock there will be monitor of activities against model
code violation as election preparedness,
All level media monitoring will be one to detect any short of
violation MCC. For which monitoring teams will directly control from CEO
office. This MCC control base will facilitate 24/7 helpline number, control
room and an APRO room for wireless communication backup including district
level monitor.
