Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Celebrates Digi-Festive In Traditional Light


Digi-Festive or Digi-Dhan Mela observed in the capital city Imphal by the Chief Minister N Biren along with the Union Minister of State (Home Affairs) Kiren Rijiju and Union Minister of State (Railways), Rajen Gohain on Sunday to celebrate digital India mission through promo of cashless or online payments in Manipur.


First of its kind such digital concept mela is emphasized in Manipur Mela to encourage mass at large into cashless payment or digital transactions for faster and effective economic outcome by the Chief Minister N Biren at state’s City Convention Centre.



This new initiative is made in the attempt to pace up with India’s transformation into digital economy under the flagship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is in the best and effective process for faster transformation of rural India into banking system to play a pivotal role in nation’s economic growth such digi pormos have been emphasized in major parts of the nation including Manipur.
