Enduring Melody Of 50’s That Enthralled Assam Has Come To A Stall


Starting her career in music at a very early age when was in class nine the melody Queen of Assam, Dipali Barthakur has left a large gap in the music world when her life came to a stall on 21st Dec after undergoing through critical state for a long time.  


This multiple award winning noted artist today had departed at the evening hour on 21st December. The 77 aged demised singer Dipali Barthakur who is left by her husband Neel Pawan Barua is revered as a dynamic pair in Assamese society and applauded for their contribution in delivering excellent works in the world of art and music. Neel Barua the husband of the demised singer Dipali laments the absence of her warmth as to who would interfere with raise of voice and console him like her.


People in large scale dropped in from Assam and abroad to pay their last respect to the eminent singer Dipali. Indeed Assam has lost the warmth of an inspiring personality who was not involved only in music but also played as an active role by becoming the voice of the state, reflecting on various connected issues.
