It
was 9 p.m. at night in Guwahati capital city when a silent roar of wind took
rapidly to a gigantic note as if it is the return of Fani's smaller series in Assam
when state’s Guwahati capital city yesterday on 12th May was knocked down
heavily by a strong gust of cyclonic storm.
This
cyclonic storm identified as seasonal storm Bordoisila left many people injured
passing on the road as it fairly gave an earlier warning where people on the
road did not get much time to prepare for escape. The intensity of this cyclonic storm is estimated to be within 90 to 100 kmph speed.
Entire
city went black out for a certain phase of time during pre and post of the
cyclonic storm strike as many electric poles, trees and infrastructures were
severely affected by its high intensity speed that brought high spell of rain
and hailstones in certain area of Guwahati, Assam.
