A large misappropriation transaction detection why earlier went undetected is very strange which came to light only after a recent reveal of fake amount display at account holders of Tezpur Head Post office by CBI investigation team.
Landing Tezpur Head Post Office under Darrang Postal Division that encompasses 47 sub-post offices in trouble when CBI team fell heavily on each employees to queer on large scale anomalies against their customer's accounts.
It has been detected that since installation of Core Banking System (CBS) in 2013 Tezpur Head Post Office there was tremendous revival reports of the silent accounts due to unknown technical fault made by employee.
Revival of the silent accounts relates to automatic pop up of fake figures at customers' account of Tezpur Head Post Office. Strangely in this entire malfunction of the process even misdeed of withdrawing amount from the account by its officials and anomaly of Rs. 1.4 crore between 2014-15 phase were detected due to which three-member CBI team was making thorough investigation. In this strict probe by CBI even one office employee was suspended.
