Rs.2000 Crore Smuggling Racket Mastermind Caught In His 7000 kg Gold Net


This Rs.2000 crore smuggling racket mastermind Narendra Kumar Jain is a most wanted criminal who had for years dusted the eyes of law makers before getting into his trap of extreme greed of smuggling 7000 kg Gold.


Jain who hails from Guwahati is a bullion trader who is doubted to be connected with air officials for transacting illegal precious metals as he has records of 617 trips, estimated for smuggling purpose.


The last 7000 kg gold transact was stated to have made from Indo-Myanmar border before catching suspicion from Directorate of Intelligence at IGI Airport.

This is the case of posh way to smuggle gold through private airline whereas miscreants use land route to dust the eyes of the law makers.

Many a times Guwahati enforcement agencies had caught him for unearthing illegal gold in airline cargo checking but he use to bail himself out easily.


According to intelligence survey large scale of gold bars transacted illegally from Moreh of Manipur including Zokhawthar of Mizoram that are situated near Indo- Myanmar border.


Detection of gold smugglers are difficult from these zones due to issues relating to topography and porosity of land area. But still 87 kg and 58 Kg of gold from Myanmar border were seized by law authority of India in two different cases.
