Acknowledging the grim demonetisation situation, A Sawibunga,
President of MBDPF pledged on assured dispatch of the BRU community stuck since
1997 in North Tripura relief camp to Mizoram
back under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme.
Under the constrain of demonetization phase the rehabilitation
and resettlement package for Apex body of Bru people that is scheduled to take
place by 30th November came to a pause.
Proper identification and restoring of Mizoram's BRU people in
Tripura Camp with houses will likely to process by next year on February. This
estimation was made on the basis of delay decision made by Ministry of Home
Affairs.
