On 25th November, fifteen to ten years old trekkers strict ban
next 26th November imposition of Rs. 1 to Rs. 10,000 fine on people making
public places dirty as cleanliness drive was issued by municipality and
Regional Transport Authority board of Guwahati.
Regional Transport Authority and Municipal board under the
direction of Guwahati High Court will make a strong active move to keep air and
area of Assam clean from unconcerned polluters.
Regional Transport Authority board had already sanctioned four
months time to replace old vehicles to owners. RTA is ready to give hi-tech
edge to new public transport vehicles with Global Positioning System (GPS)
installation.
