DoNear Assess on Northeast Communication and Industrial Progress to Indian Govt

DoNear (Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region) in association with NEDFi North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd soon to alight their analytical assessment on  Northeast development where reports in written already processed in Rajya Sabha for its implementation by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State Donear.

The reports containing assessment for effective execution of industrial sectors in NE, encompasses fields like hand-loom and handicrafts, medicinal and aromatic plants, inter-alia, tourism, software development, livestock, poultry, agriculture including food processing.

Already Indian government has made mass initiative for faster progress of Northeast zone of India where  already certain policies and programmes have been processed for development of markets, entrepreneurship skills, infrastructure including credit inflow to entrepreneurs.

For successful Northeast development process, techno-economic studies and resources mapping had been made by DoNear which include upgrade version of infrastructures laid for rail, air, road and waterways communication including telecom network process to help Govt assess on further improvement on it.

Already the Government has processed Rs. 9,865 corer for power upgrade in the eight NE states. NE lacks proper power distribution due to which states have not progressed so far where Govt’s sanction for installation of two power transmission projects hopefully will meet the necessity of the people.

Sanction of budget Rs. 5, 336 corer by the Government for the Comprehensive Tele-com Development plan in NE has been made to make coverage of mobile connectivity in block, gram panchayat and district levels. It has been assessed that NE lacks far behind due to which the Govt has initiated major projects to meet the essential demands for communication development to boost the economy of the region through DoNear’s researched reports.
