Migrants, Militancy And Indo-Bangladesh Boundary Issues Will Be Settled Without Showing Any Leniency Within The Said Time Frame - Rajnath Singh

Taking his precious time to take into the hardcore unsettled matters of Assam, the India's Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had came to meet higher government officials of the state at the capital city Guwahati on 26th December whereupon he highlighted to reopen and bring Assam Accord’s Clause 6 in full force with effective outcome.

In jet set speed with which Rajnath Singh alighted from his heavily secured vehicle even Assam government officials were seen keeping in the same pace wherever he paid visits including important place Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra on Monday morning.

Significance of Assam Accord’s Clause 6 was always felt but never implemented with full force due to which migrant population has become a serious matter of concern including increasing insurgency and unemployment cases which was again reopened by Rajanath as these neglected grave factors have overshadowed Assam's progress and made it clear with assurance that within one year and half, counting from 2017 the problems will be dissolved.

The constitutional safeguards as mentioned in words will be soon implemented in action, where the National Register of Citizens (NRC) of 1951 to March 25, 1971 data will scanned and as per to which action will be taken against illegal migrants of the state. In this process the state administration will have to adapt new rules and change their strategy to handle people-centric matter and to execute proper sealing of Indo-Bangladesh border covering span of 223.7-km.
