Nagaland Will No More Stay Cut Off

Mode of direct communication linking Nagaland and rest of India lapsed for years where currently during BJP led Indian Govt even this state will benefit like its neighboring states with introduce of new railway track.

Building strong connectivity and bringing exposure to state’s rich natural beauty and resources this new rail venture according to Nagaland Governor PB Acharya who laments that till date it lacks advancement as processed in rest of India.

Connectivity is not only the backbone of state’s economy but an essential mode for greater exposure of its land, Governor Acharya reflecting on new hope for its land  highlighted, “Though a Governor I am finding myself difficult to reach even Delhi when others can reach USA in 12-13 hours.”

Marking it as the red letter day in Nagaland’s history by the Chief Minister TR Zeliang after laying the foundation stone for its first railway project connecting capital city Kohima and commercial hub Dimapur estimated its completion by 2019.

But a more wider plan will be processed soon for presentation to all the Chief Ministers concerned to meet the urge of Nagaland's people to extend direct communication to the heart of the capital city of India, New Delhi.

To cherish the much awaited dream of Nagaland the Union Railway minister Suresh Prabhu laid the foundation of the first broad gauge track of 88 kms between the Dhansiri (Dimapur)-Zubza new to Kohima recently on July.
