Convulsion of six disputed border areas across Assam and Meghalaya decided to be flexed out in effective and faster process after Cabinet Minister’s analysis with the local people according to the both state Chief Ministers after a recent meeting in Guwahati.
To affirm people on Government’s sincere outlook over border dispute that retained for years by coming up with a strategic resolution after making on field survey over the complex stretch of Block I and Block II that come under Karbi Anglong Autonomus Council areas apart from Meghalaya’s three district. The Regional Committees’ recommendation will be taken into configuration before coming to a decision according to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
