Assam government headed by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has its own set of doctrine to regulate the education system and tidal change expected to be witnessed with prevalence of English over vernacular medium including shutdown of school with weak attendance and pass percentage.
Proximity of closure of school depends on the ethics of performance in exam, teaching and attendance. The government is to take its stance to justify upon present 2,500 schools on utilization of resources without counting performing ones.
