Declaration of five Muslim sub groups like Gorias, Jolhas, Moriyas, Syeds and Deshis as indigenous Assamese Muslim communities without any further discussion in the Assembly is simply a plan to get media glare out of the crucial matters like relief and restoration in the flood affected areas to arrange in sentimental indigenous issue.
"The final formal notification of the indigenous decision is not out only the Cabinet decision has been taken" stated Rakibul Deputy Leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) and former minister Rakibul Hussain. In the face of harsh present situation of flood affected people of Assam who are eagerly waiting in hunger and shelterless for relief and restoration after the water has receded, the BJP government is trying to divert such matter by making people engaged in such sentimental issues like indigenous declaration to five Muslim communities according to Rakibul Hussain.
CLP Rakibul stirred with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on taking Rs.1000 crore loan when he himself proclaims the government has enough funds and there is no need for Centre assistance. According to Rakibul there is not enough fund has been sanctioned from the Centre as in demand for relief and restoration work in Assam as Himanta is not able to bring in enough amount to the state.
