In the latest venture to uplift the tribal population with four hundred ‘Van Dhan Vikas Kendras’ the Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union Minister of Tribal affairs Arjun Munda has set eyes to erect five Tribal food Parks in Assam.
As per to the review meet on Tribal Livelihood Development Programme CM Himanta and Union Minister Munda has planned to extend seven more Ekalavya Vidyalayas apart from projects to promote tribal livelihoods and enterprises in Assam.
The main feature of this meet is to provide market linkage and entrepreneurship privileges to tribal people approaching Van Dhan Vikas Kenrdra for economic uplift.
