In an assurance from Adani Group head Mr. Jeet Adani the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reassured the people of Assam that there will no changes in the name of the Guwahati airport as Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International even after its partial privatization.
According to Assam CM Himanta the undertaking of Guwahati airport by Adani Group would not alter the branded name that people of the state fondly remembers in reverence to late Gopinath Bordoloi though it will try to bring best changes to the airport.
