Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal asked all the
departments of the state to pace up in produce of utilization certificate to
garner max required fund for development process.
This year due to maximum natural calamities and lack of fund
arrangements there was major abrupt in development process. Now to procure
maximum fund from the Centre, proper and speedy assessment of fund requirement
has become necessary as certain government scheme allots six months deadline
for infrastructure completion.
Assam has greater account of repair works relating to numerous damaged
river embankments in-order to restore situation by 2017 monsoon phase. So in
this urge Chief Minister Sonowal has directed for quick review on utilization
status of central funds to varied government departments and asses market
demand for state produced and imported products.
