It was not long since when major heroin worth Rs 14 crore was captured in the international market in Guwahati where eight drug peddlers were arrested in this link, again in a continued attempt with higher amount heroin worth Rs. 18 crore was recovered by Assam’s Jorabat police.
Recent heroin transaction was conducted at Assam's Jorabat interstate connecting point by two peddlers deriving from outside state from Nagaland and Manipur with quantity of 2.5 kg in repeated style under truck front cover near the oil tank.
