Intensive precaution has been carried by the Assam government where about 33 testing teams had been deployed in Guwahati Metro at its five crucial zones. During 6,883 Rapid Antigen tests in Guwahati Metro about 61 positive cases came to the surface.
Major testing rounds were done in the
famous hotspot like Kamakhya temple as Navaratri eve is on with much festivity
and enthusiasm in the air. Chaitra Navaratri and Basanti Puja will be observed at
the Nilachal hilltop the deity’s abode for several days with much pomp and gay.
But as much screening tests had been done where people’s enthusiasm are lossing
as crowds are becoming less and estimated to become more thin if situation of
COVID attack does not improve.
