Ascertaining on Barpeta’s intense measure to revive the famous historical sites like JaliKhata, Parihareswar Devalaya, Bhogeswari temple and Koliabor Thaan, the Barpeta District Deputy Commissioner Munindar Sarma added even the Balaji Revenue Circle won’t be spared in this new context of enhancement and revive of each crucial place to extend the growing intensity of its tourism under Assam government support.
This initiative to boost up historical places of Barpeta district that is famous especially for Guru Shankardev Namghar is to develop this significant area of Assam which economic back bone is silk handloom industry apart from tourism and others.
