After Assam Now Nagaland Gearing for Dilapidated Changeover

Changeover of the dilapidated education system  after Assam is now what Nagaland government is focusing,  following close survey on student’s performance.

Comparatively with Assam’s meritorious student outcome, Nagaland is extensively lapsing behind with limited performance in the pursuit of excellence in education. This in course has become a growing concern in Nagaland as state’s future is shouldered on growing generation. Lack of contribution from the education system is estimated as the reason behind the disastrous turnover of meritorious student in Nagaland.

In a high alarm for a wake-up call, Yitachu the State Minister for School Education and SCERT, Nagaland had raised the issue with teacher’s body to improve education standard of the state for stronger outcome.

At the HSLC and HSSLC, 2016 result analysis-cum-one day seminar, the State Minister for School Education emphasized, focusing the education body to solution for greater output of meritorious students.

Quality education should be implored as the major lapse on the counterpart of Nagaland teacher’s body, "24 per cent of the total budget allocation of the state on school education department does not commensurate with the results produced by the government schools," Yitachu added.

Cautioned 41 government higher secondary schools (GHSS) in the state with perilous consequences as the govt will have to reshuffle teachers, failing to uplift the present pathetic scenario of student’s performance, Yitachu added, “efforts should also be made not to have dropouts, thereby making the society prosperous.”
