Barpeta and Kokrajhar district authorities are not sparing any option to rescue people who are caught with sudden surprise with exceeding water that is over flown from the river beds, breaking into densely populated human habitat.
How Bhutan dam water release is affecting many rivers of lower Assam is beyond human science comprehension and control but when media was highlighting on particular areas of lower Assam to be affected then nobody expected Udalguri of Kokrajhar district to get intensely affected.
In broad daylight the flood condition in Udalguri has intensified and has washed away various infrastructures, crops and houses without giving much time for people to make their escape to higher lands as river water was overflowing the danger level due to impact of Bhutan dam water release.
