Dibang Hydro Project the first state owned mega hydro project in lower Dibang Valley District of Arunachal Pradesh that is initiated by the Pema Khandu government is to install the 278 meter high concrete dam under NHPC Ltd’s supervision.
This first mega power project in Arunachal is initiated with a major investment of 16000 crore that was recently approved by the Prime Minister Narendar Modi including clearance of the rest projects’ expenditure that are underway. Estimated time for this mega hydro project completion is about nine years from the time of its installation.
