It is a new awakening for the
Manipur government to save nature to save future of its people from the ongoing
natural disaster due to which has initiated a stern measure against sand
mining, earth cutting and stone quarrying.
But this decision will cease
thousands of laborers jobs currently employed in digging out natural resources from
rivers that would eventually lead them to on road agitation against the Manipur
government till the ban is lifted. But they fail to understand the reason
behind government’s decision to stop illegal mining which have exploited many
rivers’ purity and threatened its existent rich resources for greater humanitarian purposes.
