Frequent flash flood and heavy rain has hit the land route networking hard in the state due to which the Assam government has initiated satellite survey road construction under PWD’s department of the Rural Road Division (RRD) in Lower Assam division at Goalpara district .
This dynamic first satellite survey road construction projects in Northeast which comes under the Prime Minister's Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) Phase 2 scheme is initiated for faster land networks especially in rural domain of Assam.
It is in the mission that each development blocks of Goalpara district witness 15 to 20 kms of land network installation to fetch rural needs in the strategy to reduce poverty in the areas.
