Today what effective measure Sikkim government is trying to
bring with major difference to every family of the state by implementing “One Family One Job”
scheme under Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling is an ideal attempt of the authority what all Indians
are looking forward to support their family with one assured government job.
Sikkim people are to fetch a dream come true job in
government sector. Now everyone knows how hard it is to secure government job
due to prevalent corrupt methodologies. But now with the assurance from CM
Pawan Kumar to regularize even the unregularized government employees as a new
year mark according to seniority basis under one family one job scheme.
Being the highest salary payer to government employees in
India, Sikkim is further to boost employment condition of the state with
implementation of “One Family One Job” scheme that was proposed during the
winter session in 2018 at state legislative assembly.
On Sikkim government’s recent announcement this “One Family
One Job” scheme will now become effective from January, 2019. Already 20,000 near
applicants queued up at the ‘Rojgar Mela' or Employment Fair at the Paljor
stadium with their appointment letters for the desired post. But the selection that will be conducted by the Department of Personnel according to the government will
be processed on the basis if a family is left prior without any government job
including unregularised government employees.
It is first time in India and not only in Northeast where
Sikkim will be implementing such unique plan to help contribute from 70% growth of
its revenue. From the account of state’s revenue benefit will
go towards in salary enhancement of government employees. Currently from present population of
6.4 lakh about 1.4 lakh plus people will be categorized as regularized government
employees in Sikkim under the wings of CM Pawan Kumar. Today, Sikkim takes the
pride of being the highest government employee salary provider state in
India.
