It is a national pride for Indian women when the ‘female battalion’ to make history in Assam Rifles Contingent by marking the ‘D’ day on 26th January of 2019 at Rajpath with their march of salute to the President for the first time in Indian paramilitary history as well.
Dedication and sincere contribution of Indian women battalion for the sake of nation’s honor and security could not be sidelined for long and now is the time when female Assam Rifles Contingent will color the ‘D’ Day as against male norms. Major Khusboo Kanwar is honored to head this female battalion where large numbers of martyred soldiers’ wives into the same warfare profession will be participating.
