OIL Can Open Up More Jobs In Arunachal With Renewal Of Drill Agreement

As proposed in Petroleum Mining Lease Deed Agreement by Arunachal Pradesh with Oil India Limited (OIL) the twenty years validity has ended way back in 2003 to process the continuation for completion of the huge drill project has been extended recently for another fifteen years further to materialize state’s goal.


As already 14 crude oil drilling projects had been conducted in the proposed sites of Changlang and Namsal districts of Arunachal Pradesh under NIgru lease as sanctioned by the central government , only one oil well in Kumchal area produces oil. To help OIL to process it crude oil benefit from its resources the Pema Khandu government has promised to assist with the required support to the company in order to help create better job opportunities in this field and engage eligible brilliant youths into it, keeping the norms of the local to prior concern.
