Writer's Conclave which is initiated by the ‘People Place
Project’ of Meghalaya from 25th to 28th November 2016 is to
give exposure to writers to share their stories on their Shillong exploration
for the new edition book titled as 'People Called Shillong.'
These four days writing program by the People Place Project is
to frame every writer’s beautiful experience while exploring Shillong,
Meghalaya state. One can narrate about their surrounding or as a protagonist
can highlight facts about the capital city of Meghalaya.
But the seats are limited to ten where participation process is
free and accommodation will be provided by the organizer of ‘Writer’s Conclave.’
What you need to bring along with you is passion and ability to
bear expenses for travel courses during the participation period. Moreover with
this experience people will be titled with prizes if they deliver stories that
fit in to the title of the upcoming book 'People Called Shillong.'
In a way the competitors can earn name and prize apart from
satisfying their passion to bring exposure to their skills.
