The tragic incident happened in Lakhimpur, Assam where two eleven years boys participating in 'Bol Bhom' procession of lord Shiva were drowned while taking bath in river.
Drowning reason was estimated to be due to currents of overflowing rivers of Ranganadi and Barhani according to the people of the locality when a group of Bol Bhom halted to take dip at night as religious act.
