People of Guwahati had lots of hope on Devashis Sharma who was appointed a year back on 20th May as GMC Commissioner of Guwahati because of his efficiency but now after being escalated to higher post is willing to get transferred without considering his promise to solve major flood issue.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who has a big role in appointing people for responsible role should also motivate them to adhere to their promise to serve the state instead of making frequent diaper change of authorities as newly appointed person will fail to comply to public woes immediately and in understanding the situation.
