Paving a way through Bondajan wetland in Birkuchi to connect influential political leaders with the national highway today the Assam government has brought danger to the environment.
A portion of the Bondajan wetland has been covered with earth fillings for higher land networking. Gradually wetlands in the name of development of the city have become a victim to environment degradation.
